River Mersey Evening Trail Run
When: Tuesday 15th of September at 18:30PM (finishing around (19:50 PM) (option to stay on for a drink at The Longford Tap)
Where: Meet at Stretford Metrolink stop (On the platform heading south toward Altrincham)
Distance: 10k Flat
Duration: 1 Hour 20 minutes (With short breaks)
Parking: There is parking at Stretford Mall Multi Storey car park near Aldi.

Bag storage: You are welcome to leave any personal items/clothing in Owens vehicle for the duration of the run. Items are left completely at your own risk.
Description:
To join this run you should be able to confidently run 4km on the flat (at any pace) without stopping.
A nice steady evening trail run following sections of the river Mersey as it flows through south Manchester and onward to Liverpool. We will run on mown grass fields, compacted earth paths, gravel and some singletrack paths dipping in and out of the lovely mersey woodland. At the end there is the option to stay on for a drink at The Longford Tap.
What to bring: Running shoes and whatever you feel comfortable to run in. A waterproof if rain is forecast and (optional) warm layers for after can go in the Owens Van. Water for hydration. A small snack for after (optional) Longford Tap has just bar snacks but Aldi is 5 mins away if you're desperate.
Toilets: Toilets are available at Stretford Mall Costa and after the run at The Longford Tap.
Vibes: Riverside and woodland, Evening light, Green in the City.
Dogs: Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome :)
