Queer Out Here is an informal community interest group set up to serve the LGBTQIA+ community. All of our events are either free, or not-for-profit (AKA we just cover our costs). We have recently applied for a couple of funding pots but been unsuccessful - we will persevere! In the meantime, this means the organisers and walk leaders are volunteering their time and often paying for things (like web hosting, travel, insurance out of their own pocket.
